Karysia Demarest

Karysia passed in February of 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was an integral part of creating the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples. Joining C’mon in it’s infancy as a volunteer, Karysia worn many hats over the years and eventually served as C’mon’s Executive Director from 2013 through 2020. Her passion, dedication, and energy for the Museum cannot be underestimated. [Read the statement]

Karysia’s Kids is a scholarship program that will help provide the funds for local military families to enjoy the educational summer camp program at the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples. This scholarship program was created in honor of Karysia’s decade plus commitment to C’mon and her many accomplishments.

The Karysia Demarest Endowment Fund was created with the Community Fund of Collier County for the purpose of funding the programming and exhibit of The Karysia Demarest Adopt-A-Pet Clinic.
