NAPLES, Florida (January 3, 2022) – The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) will begin offering additional admission discounts in the new year. Starting on January 3, 2022, residents of Lee and Collier County and participants in the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) program will be eligible for discounted admission to the museum. These new discount categories are in addition to the first responder and Southwest Florida teacher discounts that will continue being offered.

“It has always been part of CMON’s vision to be widely accessible to the children and families of our community,” said CMON CEO Dena Rae Hancock. “We intend that these new discounts make the museum a place that all families have the opportunity to visit if they wish.”

In addition to discounted tickets, CMON partners with local emergency housing shelters and care programs to host museum exploration hours exclusively for the children in their care. CMON has hosted thousands of children in these programs since the inception of the Discovery Nights program in 2014. Additionally, CMON partners with Collier and Lee County libraries to offer a Library Pass, which can be checked out to anyone with a library card and redeemed for admission for a family of four at the museum. Complete details are available at each participating library.

The new admission prices for CMON are as follows, effective on January 3, 2022:

  • Children less than one: Free
  • Children 1+: $18
  • Adults 17+: $15
  • Lee/Collier resident children/adults: $15, $13 respectively
  • Anyone showing an EBT card: $2 per person of any age
  • Military and first responders: $9
  • Members: Free

About the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON)
The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is a brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum devoted for children and families to learn through play. With hands-on exhibit galleries, the accessible museum invites visitors of all ages to journey through the swamps of the Everglades, weave through a maze, climb a two-story banyan tree, or experiment with the water play station. Children can become a weather forecaster, a farmer, a chef, a fisherman, an artist, an architect or a veterinarian; explore the cold of an igloo, the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new and be energized. CMON offers a variety of interactive exhibits providing kids with education, play, learning, science, technology, engineering, inventions, space exploration, art, math, storybooks, creation, building, sensory, and child development.
