Summer Field Trips
What is a typical Summer Field Trip to C’mon like?
Summer Field Trips will be Museum exploration and lunch. During your Museum exploration, chaperones may choose to explore the exhibits, our traveling exhibit, participate in the art projects in the Art Studio, or play outside in the backyard (weather permitting).
- Grades PreK through 5th – $11 per person
- Teachers and Chaperones – $9 per person
Teachers from Collier, Lee, Glades, Hendry, and Charlotte counties may preview the Museum at no charge anytime during regular Museum hours by bringing their school ID or a letter from their principal or head of school on school letterhead to the Admissions Desk.
Summer Field Trips can be booked on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays in June and July 2019. We are closed Wednesdays. We have a limit of 50 children per day.
Your arrival time is 10:00 AM and departure time is 1:00 PM.
Once you have selected your desired date, go to our Summer Field Trip Reservation Page. You will see the dates that are available on the calendar. Reserve your day by answering the necessary information below. You do not have to pay at the time of registration. Payment can be made on the day of your visit by credit card, check, or cash. - Have 3 date choices in mind for your summer field trip
Summer field trips are $11 per child and $9 per adult or chaperone.
Summer field trips are available for a minimum of 10 children up to a maximum of 50 children.
Payment may be made by credit card, check, or cash. Free admission or ½ off admission passes, discount coupons or C’mon memberships may not be applied to children for summer field trip payment.
The museum is in high demand for visiting groups and we must limit the number of groups scheduled on any given day. Therefore, if your plans change, we ask that you cancel, reschedule, or change the number of students in your group at least 3 days in advance.
C’mon is a fully accessible museum. Please let us know at the time of booking if your group requires special accommodations.
C’mon requires one chaperone (over the age of 18) per every six children.
Chaperones and adults are responsible for the behavior of the group and are required to supervise and stay with children at all times during their visit to C’mon. Chaperones MAY NOT bring younger or older children with them on the summer field trip. If they do bring younger or older siblings, they will not count toward your required one chaperone per 6 children ratio, as they will be unable to provide their full attention to the children’s needs.
For visitor safety, the outdoor areas of C’mon will be closed during heavy rain, thunderstorms, or other severe weather conditions in the area. In the event of severe weather conditions, your group’s Museum experience will be limited to the indoor galleries. C’mon does not refund payment for weather, with the exception of hurricanes.
For hurricane season, please keep an eye on our website if we are in a forecast cone. Safety is our first concern, and the Museum will be closed if hurricane or tropical storm force winds are predicted within 48 hours as well as during any evacuation and damage cleanup time. If your trip is booked during one of these occurrences and the Museum is closed, you are eligible for a refund or to rebook your trip later in the summer.
Organizations should bring their own lunches. All lunches will be outside on the front terrace (patio with umbrella shaded tables).
Organizations may shop in the Museum Store at any time during their visit, however, C’mon has a policy of no more than 6 students in the store at any given time and students MUST be accompanied by a chaperone.
